Miniaim: The Tiniest of AIM Clients

Miniaim is exactly that; a miniature AIM client. At under 75kb and executable without installation, Miniaim is a great option for cube jockeys without admin priveleges on their work boxes.

You can get the basic gist of what the program looks like from the picture, but what seems to really set it apart from other AIM clients is that the chat windows are permenately attached to the buddy list through a tab system.

Overall, it works pretty well. My only complaint is that the "buddy info" option doesn't seem to work. It looks like it's set up to use your system's default web browser to display the info, but I just keep getting 404 errors.

Still, though, it's pretty neat and maybe even a viable replacement for Gaim.

Keep refreshing the buddy info window. Eventually, it'll work. Problem with AOL.
