Holy Schnikie, a Real Laser Gun!
Engadget is running a little blurb on a commercially available laser gun that, if I must say, is totally fricken awesome!
For about 1750 bucks, you can own a handheld laser gun power enough to shoot through "the hardest of metals." The thing only runs on a couple of AA batteries, too.
The Laser Ray Gun (at the bottom on the page) gets somewhere between 120 and 150 shots on a set of batteries and is, of course, quite dangerous. In fact, it's a certified Class IV laser...
No, I don't know what the means either, but I don't intend to fuck around with it to find out.
