Sonic Alarm - For Those Who Like to Get Their Asses Kicked

This thing is basically, and quite obviously, a sonic grenade. You pull the pin and lob it into a room to annoy the fuck out of wake up the occupant. I Want One of Those snarkily claims that the intended use, here, is to rouse a stubborn and/or persistent sleeper. That, of course, is pure bullshit given that the only way to deactivate the thing is to first find and then reinsert the pin.

In any case, it certainly is a neat idea, or at least a novel one. There's no real description of how loud a noise the thing makes, though, which is kinda disappointing. There appear to be three volume levels, and the sound is described as "piercing," but it'd be nice to get a decibel count.

Anywho, the thing is relatively cheap (about 16 bucks), so it wouldn't be a terrible risk to try it out.
