The West Wing: Cancelled

NBC's fantasy White House drama "The West Wing" will end its seven-season run on May 14 with the inauguration of the new president, executive producer John Wells told television critics Sunday.

This sucks some major ass. I like Command in Chief and all, but it ain't no West Wing. Call me spoiled, but I have no interest in following the day to day exploits of a White House senior staff that doesn't speak in a constant string of witty dialogue overly saturated with poignant and scathing, yet somehow also loving and optomistic, critiques of American political culture.

In comparrison, everything else is just kind of bland.
